Kilimanjaro (5,895m) Treks: (Lemosho, Machame, Marangu)

 At 5,895m, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. It is also a dormant volcano located in the heart of Tanzania. 

Mount Kilimanjaro has 3 distinct volcanic cones : “Kibo”, “Mawenzi”, and “Shira”.

Why do Kilimanjaro?

It is the highest mountain in Africa, at 5,895m. It is also the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Kilimanjaro is also one of the easiest high altitude peaks and can be completed by beginners.

Lemosho Route

Lemsho route is considered one of the more scenic trails on Kilimanjaro.

It is our proposed choice because it allows good acclimatization with an ideal balance of lesser crowds and beautiful scenery.

It can be done in 7 or 8 days.

Machame Route

Machame Route is commonly known as the 'Whisky Route".

It is the most popular route up Kilimanjaro. 

Marangu Route

Marangu Route is known as the "Coca-Cola Route". It is shortest route and least expensive route.

It is also the only route with huts and is a return trek where the ascent and descent is the same route.
