Annapurna Base Camp Trek(4,130m)

Annapurna Base Camp Trek (4,130m) is one of the most famous treks in Nepal. It is highly popular, because of its convenience and easy accessibility.

It is a doable trek of moderate difficulty for relative beginners yet with amazing scenery. The trail goes alongside terraced rice paddies, lush rhododendron forests and high altitude landscapes with the Annapurna Range in view most of the times. It is also a teahouse trek so there is no camping involved.

One would get a chance to see the majestic peaks of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m).

The proposed itinerary is what we feel is the best in maximising the views of the Annapurna Region.

Annapurna Base Camp trek is located in Nepal, the land of the Himalayas. It starts from Pokhara, not Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

Climbing Season

All year round, but the peak seasons are in Spring (March - May) and Autumn (Sept - Nov)

Teahouse Trek

There are lodges (or teahouses as they call it) throughout the trek, which means beds, blankets, showers, electricity and wifi.

Why Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

The trek is very accessible for beginners or first-timers to multi-day treks due to the developed facilities.
The view at Annapurna Base Camp is one of the most spectacular in the world.
